B2RUVL¶
B2RUVL is a Blender add-on that bridges your UV-mapping workflow between Blender and RizomUV or Headus UVLayout. Send a mesh out to your dedicated UV tool, do the unwrapping there, and bring the UVs straight back — without manual exporting and importing.
Features¶
- Live RizomUV link — start/close a RizomUV session and send/get meshes over a TCP connection, with a live connection-status indicator.
- RizomUV tools from Blender — Sync UV Sets, Weld All, Cut, Unfold, Optimize and Pack, driven directly from the Blender panel.
- Run Lua scripts — execute bundled or custom RizomUV Lua scripts (Box, Mozaic, Pelt, Sharp Edges), with an optional auto-run toggle.
- Selection sync — push Blender edge selections (Seams, Sharp, Crease, or the current selection) to RizomUV.
- Headus UVLayout export — send a mesh to UVLayout with surface-type and cut-by-sharp-edges options.
- Self-updating link binaries — check for and download the latest RizomUVLink binaries from GitHub for your Blender Python version.
Requirements¶
- Blender 5.0 or newer.
- Windows (RizomUVLink native binaries are Windows-only).
- RizomUV and/or Headus UVLayout installed locally.
