UVLayout Workflow¶
With Use UVLayout enabled and its executable path set, the panel shows a Send to UVLayout button (disabled until the path is configured).
Send to UVLayout¶
Select a mesh and press Send to UVLayout. The mesh is exported and opened in Headus UVLayout using your configured options.
Options¶
Set these in preferences:
- Surface Type
- Poly — standard meshes.
- SUBD — subdivision-surface meshes.
- Cut and Drop by sharp edges — when enabled, UVLayout automatically cuts along edges marked Sharp in Blender. Works with a single object only.
